Admissions

We are delighted that you are considering QCPS for your daughter’s primary education.

Choosing the right school for your daughter is a very important – and often a very personal decision. We believe that visiting us in person and having the opportunity to meet our teachers and pupils, is invaluable in helping you gain a real sense of the school’s nurturing atmosphere and ethos.

We have regular open events, but you are equally as welcome to come in and meet with our Co-Heads, Ailsa Buddle and Georgia Habanananda. A warm reception awaits.

Summer Term 2026 Open Events:

Coffee with the Co-Heads (all entry points), Wednesday 17 June, 9-10am.

Pre-School Stay and Play sessions:

  • Friday 26 June, 9am-10am

*2026 Entry*: whilst the formal process for our key entry points have taken place for entry in September 2026, we do have a few remaining places in certain year groups. Please contact Barbara Porter in our Admissions Office for availability at admissions@qcps.org.uk or 0207 291 7070, and she will be happy to help.

"If you want your child to be happy, healthy and well-rounded, Queen's College Prep School will do an outstanding job."

While most children join Queen’s College Preparatory School at our usual entry points, places sometimes become available in other year groups if a family relocates or a pupil moves school.

When a place does arise, we are pleased to consider applications for that year group. The admissions process will normally include an age-appropriate assessment and a meeting with a member of our team so that we can get to know your child and ensure Queen’s would be a happy and suitable environment for them.

Because these opportunities are limited and unpredictable, we encourage parents who are interested in an occasional place to contact our Admissions team. We will be happy to advise you on current availability and the next steps in the process.

If you would like to enquire about an occasional place, please email Admissions at admissions@qcps.org.uk.
